Do you see what I see?
Hip, hip, Hurray! Do you see what I see? It's shiny new bike posts on Baldwin Street! Finally! More spots for cyclists to park in Kensington!

Yesterday I was in a meeting and we were talking about something really heavy like Project Coding, and no one was agreeing on anything. And then I looked outside of the board room window and there was a rainbow in the sky. And I couldn't help but smile and everyone stopped and wondered why, and then we all just looked at the rainbow for a bit. I lasted just a couple minutes but left a beautiful gray-blue sky behind it.
Today I was sitting at my desk reviewing a proposal and Nate told me I had a visitor. And I walked out to reception and it was my darling gal Ange and she had a chai latte and an apple-pastry in hand. And we sat on the staircase outside of the office and just chatted a bit. And then when I got back to my desk after we hugged goodbye, I found a little note in the paper bag that had the sweetest poem on it, and it put a smile on my face for a long while.

Massacre on Beet Street
Horrors of horrors. At my Hot Yam! shift this Wednesday, I was on beet duty. I scrubbed and chopped over 50 of these beauties. Beets are very high in nutritional value and are delicious just cut up (skins on) and roasted with a bit of oil and salt.
